Surface finishing equipment and process technology
BV Products has been perfecting its unique all cast polyurethane vibratory finishing machines for almost 40 years to make them the most innovative and most cost-effective surface finishing solution available.
BV stocks and produces to order a comprehensive range of equipment and materials for achieving the perfect surfaces- as well as maintaining an extensive demonstration and job shop facility for many different types of applications. Not only do BV Products offer high quality mass finishing products but also a fully documented process report sheet with each machine – established by our free sample processing work- saving our customers time, money and assuring them the best possible solution and results.
Deburring Many materials are frequently machined in order to create pieces of specific shapes and sizes. These procedures often create sharp edges or protrusions. The raised particles and shavings that appear when components are machined are referred to as burrs, and the process by which they are removed is known as deburring.
Super-finishing Wherever metals come into contact with each other contact stresses and friction occur. Both these conditions regulate and reduce the performance and compromise the design of the component. Super-finishing - often called CASF (Chemically Accelerated Surface Finishing) is a means of regaining those losses by producing a superfine finish where it is most needed.
Below are automotive parts processed with BV's Vibratory Micro-Finishing processes.
Polishing
BV Product’s advanced polishing finishing systems produce perfect surfaces with the minimum of material removal. Polishing processes are carried out in the BV range of equipment making each application cost-effective, technically advanced and highly productive.
Descaling and Cleaning Mass finishing equipment is an extremely useful tool for the descaling and cleaning of various types of materials. The equipment in conjunction with consumables such as abrasive medias and cleaning compounds work together to remove any scale, rust or grease and improve the surface quality of a range of different components.
